Many thanks to the Massachusetts Center for the Book and their Great Reads MA
program, we are honored to be reading Nothing More of This Land: Community, Power, and
the Search for Indigenous Indentity by Joseph Lee.
We are very excited about this series of programs!
We have 2 book discussions scheduled plus a virtual event with with the author.
Our first discussion is at Beth’s Family Dining on Tuesday, September 8th at 4:15pm. We will gather in the the back room for the discussion and we will serve light appetizers. There is a cash bar.
This second discussion is virtual with a presentation by Brad Lopes, Education and Public Programs Mananger at the Aquinnah Cultural Center on Thursday, September 17 at 5pm.
He will give a presentation and then open it up for Q &A.

The grand finale is a virtual presentation with the author, Joseph Lee.
Tuesday, September 29, at 6pm at the Library.
There will be an opportunity for you to ask questions as well.

beaches, the island has become increasingly unaffordable for tribal members, with nearly
